Located in the South East Corner of the Dubbo Central Business District.

Off the highway, a very quiet motel given its prime location.

Only 5 minutes walking distance to all downtown city shopping, restaurants, clubs and professional services.

Facilities:

The property is a full service motel offering a wide range of accommodation choices.

  • Accommodation:
    Choose from Economy, Standard, Executive or Family Units.
    Two 3 bedroom fully self contained units(serviced apartment style) are also available for short or longer term stays.
    All units are ground floor and over one third are designated non-smoking rooms.

    These units include a Disabled unit/ Spa Unit and two Serviced Apartment style units.

    We are also fitting out the entire motel with an electronic lock system, for improved security of guests.




  • Restaurant
    The Restaurant is open for breakfast and evening meals.
    Breakfast
    As well as A-La-Carte room service, a continental buffet is available each morning at a small cost. Choice of cooked breakfast is also available 7 days per week.
    Evening Meal
    An extensive A-La-Carte menu of International cuisine specialising in Steak and Seafood. Renowned for its Seafood Platters, the Billabong Reef and Beef Restaurant is popular for discreet Dining as well as groups and special functions. Seating for up to 58 persons.
    Coolabah Room
    The "Round Table" which seats up to 20 is especially popular. Seating for up to 40 persons. Sunday evenings are available for group bookings (minimum 12).
  • Conference Facilities:
    Ideal for the smaller conference, up to 25 persons. All facilities are available including TV/Video, overhead projector, white boards - both manual and electronic. Full catering service for morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas is available. Special accommodation and conference packages can be arranged.
  • Coaches and Groups:
    Excellent off street parking for coaches and an ideal location (genuine walking distance to shops and clubs) makes the Matilda a great travelling coach facility. A range of package options are available to suit all group requirements with service options providing a choice of price levels. Take-away cut lunches are also available upon request as well as any special dietary considerations for group members.

    Tourist Information:

    Assistance can be provided to guests in choosing and booking tourism activities in the Dubbo area. To detail a few: Western Plains Zoo, Dundullimal Homestead, Old Dubbo Goal, Jinchilla Gallery & Gardens, Military Museum, Dubbo Museum, Jeda Boomerangs, Indijinart, The Dubbo Observatory and Macquarie River Cruises.

    Tour operators and other activities like the Golf Driving Range, Horse Riding, Ten Pin Bowling inquiries can be accessed.
