Dubbo is situated mid way between Melbourne and Brisbane on the Mitchell & Newell Highways and the Golden Highway from Newcastle. It is the home of the World Famous Western Plains Zoo plus many other excellent attractions and activities.

The Motel, a Member of the "Budget Motel Chain" (the affordable alternative) is situated in a residential area of Dubbo, away from the "Noise and Fumes" of the major Highways, yet close enough to be able to easily continue your journey. It is near enough to all the Cities shopping, medical,racecourse, TAFE and Charles Sturt Uni for your convenience. It is owned and operated by Mick and Liz which ensures excellance in standards and service.

The Motel comprises 15 brick & tile units of a high standard with sound reduction windows to all units facing the road and are fully self contained with the normal facilities of a property with this star rating. All units have been refurbished.

We have one suite that can be broken down as follows:

3 Rooms (1 x queen, outer room with top, bottom bunk and trundle, interconnecting to room with 1 x 3/4 double bed + single sofa bed), unit has 2 air-conditioners, 2 TVs and 2 bathrooms. Can be locked down to 2 bed unit.

The Forest Lodge has a restaurant on site to save further driving. Borsalino's offers an exciting Mediterranean menu and room service Monday to Saturday.

All Long Weekend and Public Holiday tariffs are higher than minimum rates (all due to high labour costs) and have minimum of 2 night stays.

All school holiday periods are higher than minimum rates.
