Blackwood Cottages are fully self contained and completely private, featuring two bedrooms, one with a queen bed the other with two or three single beds.

Set in three acres of gardens, you can experience nature from the privacy of your cottage. King parrots and kookaburras come to your verandah to be hand-fed with seed provided by your hosts.

Facilities include - full size stove - microwave oven - washing machine - television - VCR's (free library) - hair dryers - blankets - pillows. Linen and towels are included. Electric blankets are fitted to all beds. Cots and high chairs are available. A light breakfast basket can be provided if required.

After your trip to the snow, all that wet gear can be dried in the drying room. There is a comprehensive folder in each cottage, with all walking maps, commercial brochures, some suggested day trips and places of interest to visit.

There are two undercover BBQ's located in the gardens for your use. There is a swing, totem tennis and best of all, plenty of space outside to run around. There are also two tennis courts for guests.

An on-site phone enables you to keep in touch with the outside world.

If you are arriving late, a platter from a local restaurant can be delivered to your cottage. Just ask for the available selection.
