The Gippsland Lakes are recognised as Victoria's prime marine recreation area with more than 400 square kilometres of inland waterways. Slipway guests are encouraged to see as many of the local attractions as possible.

Assistance is provided in booking boat cruises on the lakes and providing directions to local galleries and special places of interest such as the Buchan Caves, 90 Mile Beach, bush drives, nature walks and picnic spots.

The lakes are exceptionally good for recreational fishing. The Slipway hire boats are available for those who wish to go sightseeing around the lakes or to go fishing.

The Slipway is a unique lakeside holiday village consisting of seven luxury three bedroom villas, with absolute waterfront, all with magnificent views over Bancroft Bay. The villas have been designed to the highest most exacting standards.

Each villa is 180 square metres (20 squares) in area and features three bedrooms, two bathrooms with Twin spa in the ensuite powder room, open lounge/dining room, ultra modern kitchen and laundry. Front and rear balconies off the first floor bedrooms and a front courtyard for outdoors entertainment.

The Slipway has on site management to ensure that guests have a high standard of service and maintenance available at all times.

Children are catered for with cots, high chairs and playpen available. Baby sitting can be arranged if required.

There are six 3 bedroom villas and four 2 bedroom apartments (not in the same complex).

Minimum 7 night stay required over Christmas/New Year period.
